A little nod to life in the desert.
A little chunk of cholla cactus wood is from a dead branch that I found on the ground in picturesque Abiquiu, NM. It was here that the idea of making these beads was envisioned. Its a place that is so awe inspiringly beautiful that the famous artist Georgia O’Keeffe decided to live there.
These necklaces are made of bronze or silver and hang from leather and are fantastic for layering or wearing alone.
I’ve made the fringe extra long on these so it moves with you.
Necklace slips over your head and has long fringe- 12” give or take.
It comes in buckskin leather (lighter) or black or chocolate brown.
